Collaborative Research Project

Below are links that will take you to the pages of my site involving our collaborative research project.  The four of us have worked together to write one complete piece that details the Slow Food movement.  Though our sites may differ slightly in format, all content is the same and was worked on both collaboratively and congruently.

Abstract:
Our group chose to do a study on the Slow Food Movement. The aim of our study is to better understand what the Slow Food Movement is as a whole, including when and how it started, and the differences between "slow food" and "fast food". We are attempting to better equip ourselves with an understanding of the Slow Food Movement. Our research consisted of reviewing the Slow Food and Slow Food USA websites, visiting a supermarket and a local Farmer's Market, and comparing and contrasting prices of different foods from supermarkets, fast food restaurants, and famer's markets. Our findings include that the Slow Food Movement is a global organization that promotes "Good, Clean, Fair" food, that Slow Food is cheaper than fast food and that there are many chapters of the Slow Food Movement. These findings will help us to make wiser choices when purchasing grocery products.
